Nes-Ziona, Israel, December 31,2018 – Enlivex Therapeutics, Ltd., a clinical-stage immunotherapy company, today announced the formal opening of its new ALLOCETRA™ GMP manufacturing facility. The facility was designed to enable production and supply of the company’s immunotherapy product, ALLOCETRATM, for its upcoming early and late-stage clinical trials.

“The expansion of our operations to now include a GMP manufacturing facility is a critical step in advancing Enlivex’s capabilities to supply ALLOCETRA™ for our various clinical programs, including prevention of complications post bone-marrow transplantations, treatment of steroid-refractory GvHD patients and prevention of organ dysfunction associated with Sepsis.” said Shmuel Hess, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer of Enlivex.

ALLOCETRA™ was designed to provide a novel immunotherapy mechanism of action that targets life-threatening clinical indications that are defined as “unmet medical needs”, including prevention or treatment of complications associated with bone marrow transplantations (BMT) and/or hematopoietic stem cell transplantations (HSCT);  and organ dysfunction and acute multiple organ failure associated with Sepsis; and enablement of an effective treatment of solid tumors via immune checkpoint rebalancing.
